Detailed Program
Day 1: Cliff and Canyon Initiation for Beginners
- Morning: Welcome at the SCA center, equipment introduction, learning essential knots, and initiation to rope movements (handrails, rappelling) on a cliff.
- Afternoon: Practical application in the Marc Canyon (or Argensou) to work on team progression, communication, and equipment management.
Day 2: Technical Application in Canyon
- Morning: Preparation and departure for the Artigue Canyon (Escales or another, depending on conditions).
- Afternoon: Focus on simple obstacles (natural slides, jumps, guided rappels) and team progression (communication, etc.).
Day 3: Consolidation and Real-Life Scenarios
- Morning: Review of techniques and preparation for the Subra Canyon.
- Afternoon: Real-life scenarios with obstacle de-rigging, collective equipment management, and consolidation of skills.
