A real underground adventure… but gently!

You want to discover caving differently ? The instructors will be happy to take you on an Ariège water cave that we all love: a wild place, sculpted by water and time, where you learn to progress underground... while having fun!

What we do, concretely:

Three short abseiling descents to get you into the swing of things, then we get into the famous Serpentin passage...and there, the magic happens: large rooms, underground river, water slides, play of light... we move forward together, but it's you who gradually takes the lead of the group, guided by our advice.

You will learn the basic techniques of caving! All this, in a relaxed, reassuring atmosphere, and really caring. No pressure, no judgment, no performance: just real, living, sharing.

Have you never been caving? Are you not very athletic? No problem!
This outing is accessible to all, including families, curious adults, friends, and complete beginners.

We are delighted to present to you an unforgettable underground adventure at famous Georges Chasm, through the Tube entrance!

Pour débuter votre aventure, nous commencerons par une initiation spéléo classique. Cette étape est primordiale pour apprendre les bases de la spéléologie et pour vous familiariser avec l’environnement souterrain. Ensuite, nous progresserons petit à petit vers des techniques de corde plus avancées. Vous apprendrez ainsi à franchir des main-courantes, à descendre des rappels fractionnés, à escalader et désescalader des passages, et même à remonter sur corde, le tout dans des volumes gigantesques.

Notre première étape de descente nous conduira jusqu’à la « salle de la Famine », située à une profondeur impressionnante de -200 mètres. Nous pique-niquerons dans cette grande salle historique pour reprendre des forces ! En fonction du nombre et du niveau des participants, nous pourrons choisir entre différentes options pour la suite de notre exploration, afin de s’adapter au mieux à chacun et rendre cette aventure accessible à tous.

Le gouffre George est célèbre pour ses dimensions hors normes. En effet, il s’agit d’un gouffre immense qui offre une expérience inoubliable à tous les amateurs d’envergure sportive.

En somme, le gouffre George par l’entrée Tube est une aventure souterraine inoubliable, accessible à tous les niveaux. Avec une initiation spéléo classique et un perfectionnement progressif aux techniques de corde, vous serez prêt à explorer cet environnement unique.
