The idea of \u200b\u200bthis stay is to discover Loz\u00e8re<\/strong> and more specifically its canyons and a cave. A mystical and wild<\/strong> territory, made up of high plateaus cut by deep gorges, the notion of wild space takes on its full meaning here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This internship takes place in the C\u00e9vennes National Park<\/a>, home to a mosaic of landscapes:<\/strong> moors, gorges, terraces, greenhouses\u2026 With a unique built heritage: cobblestones, bridges, slate houses, cl\u00e8de\u2026 Many legends were born here, such as the Beast of G\u00e9vaudan or that of the Camisards.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>

In its descent towards the Mediterranean Sea, the Massif Central has created some very beautiful canyons.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Roujanel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Japanese print atmosphere, translucent blue water basins<\/strong> where beech leaves levitate, the schist sculpted and polished by the water lit by the sun which filters through the beech grove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this canyon there are no major obstacles, but swimming and jumping in a dreamlike landscape.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Rieutort<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The southernmost canyon of our adventure. An immersion in nature<\/strong> along the water, we will go from the beech forest to the pine forest, crossing surprising and varied geologies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A complete program with jumps, beautiful abseils<\/strong> and slides. A very pretty finale in the middle of cedars and granite blocks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Borne<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here it is Canada, in the middle of fir trees and granite towers, the terminal has dug beautiful emerald green pools<\/strong>. A beautiful atmosphere where we sometimes imagine ourselves as Davy Crockett, sometimes as a pirate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This canyon is punctuated by numerous jumps and walks. Here the waters are fresh and invigorating.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Chassezac<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An unusual and mythical canyon<\/strong>, to descend into the gorge we will take old calades (stone paths) among the chestnut trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The descent of the Chassezac is punctuated by a diversity of obstacles<\/strong>: slides, mailboxes, abseiling under waterfalls, opposing passages, jumps and flushing water... It takes around 6 hours to complete the entire course.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Chassezac is an open but deep canyon,<\/strong> from the bottom of the gorge to the plateau there is a 300 m drop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will go to the Champclos cave. We will go down to the foot of the C\u00e9vennes to explore the Ard\u00e8che limestone.<\/strong> Champclos is a very beautiful cavity which allows a varied route with meanders<\/strong>, wells, small underground rivers and above all very beautiful rooms, including the Mont Blanc room.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
